Bridal Jewelry: Crazy About Cocktail Rings

Cocktail

My latest jewelry obsession is definitely cocktail rings! I spotted tons on the red carpet of the 2010 Golden Globes. Some of my favorites frosted the fingers of Drew Barrymore and Sandra Bullock. Here are a few more wedding-worthy finds.

1.This Nava Zahavi moonstone stunner is surely aisle-appropriate. The milky-white color of the gem won't distract from your gown or your new wedding band.

2. Nobody does these edgy, lucite rings better than Alexis Bittar.

3. For a ring with a bit more bling, I love JoomiNYC.

4. Natural stones, like the raw quartz in this Sylas by Nashelle ring, make this glam accessory feel a bit more low-key.

5. Something subtle for your something blue? This labradorite ring is be Azaara.

I love these big showy rings -- I've seen Jennifer Aniston wear them recently and thought they were really gorgeous!

I had heard a lot that cocktail rings are in vogue these days. But when I saw my friend flaunting a Bohemian style studded ring, I was amazed. It was oversized and could easily draw attention to the one wearing it. Well I thought of buying one for myself, and checked one big ring at $295. Is it fairly rated, or over priced? Should I buy it?
