Feeling Blue: DIY or Buy Your Something Blue

Blue

Last week on The Knot Live we did a special, Something Blue segment and I (with the help of my fabulous fashion interns) got to do some fun, fashion DIY projects!

First, this amazing necklace! We found the ribbons, jeweled buttons, and chains at MJTrim.com. Then sewed the ribbon to the chains and attached the buttons. If they blue is too bold, think about doing this with clear crystal and white lace, velvet, or grosgrain ribbon.

Next project --- the bedazzled heel! We simply glued flat back crystals to a pair of dyed Unforgettable Moments by Lela Rose for Payless Shoes, and they look much more couture than their $25 price tag!

Okay, so this last item is not a DIY, but they are blue and my favorite panty-line free underwear! They are called and come in all different shades of blue!

Has anyone else tried these!? And, do you love them?
