Perfume Primer: Check Out This New (and Sparkly) Wedding Day Scent
filed under: Beauty
Okay, I know I'm always saying to avoid sparkly makeup on your wedding day because it can look greasy, but there is a tiny loophole -- your perfume. This glitter body spray from Soular Therapy adds a subtle (that's the key word) shimmer without a strong scent so you can layer it with your wedding day perfume. Or, you can go an even simpler route and just opt for a crystal studded perfume bottle. Right now I'm loving the new Nina by Nina Ricci Precious Edition scent (Macy's will have it starting October 1st). It's a rich, fresh and fruity-floral perfume and the bottle makes the perfect keepsake. Are you planning to wear a special wedding day perfume? ![]() August 28, 2009

These personalized nameplates make the perfect wedding day jewelry. I love the idea of giving a less glitzy option to your bridesmaids and keeping a diamond studded style for yourself. Flower Power: Pick Petals for your Wedding Hairstyle
filed under: Beauty, Wedding Hair
While I love the look of long flowing veils (and cage veils too), sparkly hair pins and crystal-studded headbands, sometimes a simple fresh flower is the perfect accent. Orchids are hearty and are always a good choice, but if don't feel like straying from your wedding flowers, just make sure you have some back up blooms on hand in case your prime pin gets damaged. Get ready to rinse and repeat! You'll need more than just one shampoo to get your hair the way you want it for your wedding day: Grow Girl Engagement ring, check! Let the beautification begin. The first step in creating a successful bridal hairstyle is making sure your locks are long and strong before you get to your hair trial. Beautiful Bows: Wedding Details Go Girly
filed under: Accessories, Fashion
The Bridesmaids Dresses March your maids down the aisle in these shimmery silver Vineyard Collection Bridesmaids Dresses. I love how the bow stands on it's own — Of course sashes are a great way to add color, but a dress sans sash is much more modern. Your Wedding Gown Who can resist an extra touch of sparkle? Not me! I'm a huge fan of embellished belts, especially this decadent design by Priscilla of Boston. The gown is really simple, so the belt doesn't feel over-the-top. Hair Accessories I'm addicted to these handmade headpieces, they look so elegantly vintage. Take a closer look at the sequin bows on the Court and Plume website. Dangly Earrings These Azaara Collection drop earrings would look stunning with any style dress, though I totally picture them with a slinky halter-style sheath. What do you think? Bridal Shoes These Oscar de la Renta heels really have it all: A dance-friendly strap, a pristine bow and a little bit of bling. -- Heather Levine ![]() August 17, 2009
